Write Up:
Gold Branch offered up its best today for our dozen hikers.  The air was chilly, but after an initial uphill climb, we were all nicely warmed up. Some old friends joined with newer members to make for an exceptionally social afternoon.  The group voted to take an extra couple of trails, but at our brisk pace, we still finished over 5.5 miles in just two hours.  Welcome to the AOC, Danny O'Sullivan.  You chose a challenging first event, but you did great!
