Write Up:
We saw and heard hundreds of beautiful birds at Cochran Shoals this morning including red-headed woodpeckers, great blue herons, cormorants, mergansers, blue-wing teals and about 30 other species.  Had perfect weather for it with lots of colorful wildflowers popping out beside the trails and river.
