Write Up:
I really hate the new crop of fitness hikers and how they've ruined my nice, leisurely strolls!  Lauren and I co-lead today's 16.25 mile hike at Kennesaw Mountain, where the term "sweep" acquired new meaning.  I ate dust for nearly the entire hike!  Lauren led the front of the group at an alarmingly fast pace while I tried to take photos and got left way behind. When my camera broke, there was no longer an excuse for my being so slow! I just was! The front of the pack finished on time - - around 4 PM, while the straggling remains came in around 20 minutes later.  I'd say we earned the D5 rating. My legs are tired. (Armin, no need to comment.  At 31 miles, your hiking buddies are aliens.)
