This write-up will serve for both Big Trees Preserve and Morgan Falls.  The Preserve was lush and beautiful.  Byrum is hopefully going to register for the AOC.  We met him in the parking lot at Big Trees before the hike and invited him to come along, as he was not familiar with the area.  The 3 J's (Joyce, Jessica C. and Joan T.) walked the trails for nearly an hour before getting in our cars to drive to Morgan Falls.  We said good-bye to Byrum and greeted Eric at Morgan Falls for our second hike.  The hill is now full of greenery and looks much more alive than it did last winter. After crossing the hill, we walked to the dam to see what it looked like from the "other side.  The two hours spent at these two locations were most pleasant.
