The day was a scorcher, but by the time our hike started (6 PM) things had cooled down considerably, making it near perfect weather for our hike at West Palisades.  We kept up a nice pace and made it all the way to the end of the trail across from East Palisades and back in 2 hours, with stops for pictures along the way.  Tom and Shirley met an old neighbor, Grant, on the trail, so we invited him and his dog Katie to join us.  I think we may have a new AOC member soon! It was only Elizabeth's second hike with the club - - and her first AOC photos.  Lauren and I hope you enjoy them, Elizabeth!
