A tragedy occurred at Stone Mountain this evening. . . .  Joyce left her camera in Marietta and could not take any photos of the hike!  A couple of members had cameras and took pictures, so hopefully they'll send them our way for posting. [Susan F. took pictures and sent them to me . . . so we have a photo record of the hike after all!] Other than that, the hike was wonderful.  The trek around the mountain was brisk but enjoyable and the sunset at the top was gorgeous.  A few folks had to leave us before heading to the summit, but we added Katie M., who happened to be hiking solo this evening on the mountain.  This was Susan F.'s first sunset on Stone Mountain!  So happy to share it with you, Friend!  

I sure wish Stone Mountain were in Marietta! It's such a beautiful place to hike.
