6 AM carpool to the Smoky Mountains and back in Atlanta by 8 PM!  It was a fun adventure hiking up and back down Mt. LeConte on Saturday!  We had a full crew of 16 AOC member on the trip and was able to fit the entire group into four cars on the drive to the Smoky Mtns - now that is going green!  Overall, it was a fantastic trip and everyone proved to be a strong capable hiker.  At the top of Mt. LeConte, we were rewarded with 360 degree views at the top of the cliffs and a chance to check out the LeConte lodge and facilities.
