They should have thought twice before allowing me to lead groups into the woods!  As many times as I've hiked through Sope Creek, I managed to make our easy hike there a much more challenging one. I inadvertenty took a trail that went down to the river and ended up with about 1/4 mile of some very difficult navigation over rocks and roots and up steep ascents.  Thankfully, no one got hurt, but in order to assuage the masses, I promised to raise the difficult of the event to a D3.  Hopefully, the participants won't write complaints to the Member Ambassadors. . .  but if they do, I have connections!  :-)

Poor Carrie!  Will she ever go on another hike with me again?

Thanks for a challenging, enjoyable hike on an extremely hot afternoon, everyone. Great meeting Hope and Jay and seeing Michele, Carrie and Marion again.
