It just doesn't get any better . . . .

Our close group of four (Joyce, Libby, Sunae and Susan) were joined by a newcomer, Frances, who quickly became a new friend.  We enjoyed our two-hour hike around the perimeter of the unit, making our way down to the river by the flour mill ruins.  The water in the creek was low, so on an inspiration, we hopped across the rocks and went down to the paper mill by the trail on the other side of the river.  Only Sunae and I had seen this beautiful sight in the past, so it was a treat for the others. After completing the hike, we couldn't stand to part, so we caravaned to Smashburger in Sandy Springs to dine on burgers and sweet potato fries.  What a magical morning!  Thanks, Susan, for taking such great photos for us!
