We had a unique approach to this hike.  We gave everyone the choice of going at Lauren's zoom-zoom speed or taking a more sane tempo with Joyce.  Some folks switched as we met up with each other half way through the hike.  It worked well.  It welcomed some of the members onto a hike they would ordinarily not do, yet gave the workout fanatics the opportunity to go at their break-neck speed. The Lauren and Joyce team are back in action after Joyce's month away!  :-)
