Today's hike at Amicalola was a wonderful way to celebrate Lauren's and Joyce's 100th shared event!  And we're still great friends  :-) !

The weather was perfect for a long hike up to the HI (Hike Inn).  No rain and heat on the way to up;  then cooler with a short shower on the descent.  We walked fast and got a great workout despite Keseva's and Joyce's frequent stops for photos (mainly mushrooms).  We covered nearly 11 miles in 5 hours, including a lunch break at the Inn.
