So Lauren has a sore ankle?  You'd never know it from the pace she set this afternoon at Cochran Shoals.  We covered 5.5 miles (some with very challenging hills) in 1 hour, 45 minutes.  The group was great, meeting the challenge of the pace with no problem.  Seven of us made a Smoothie King stop after the hike.  (If you go to the Powers Ferry Smoothie King, say hello to the manager, Josh - - and tell him you're in the AOC.  We're going to work on a discount because of all the business we send his way!) The sunset colors were really beautiful as we sat and talked, sipping Smoothies.
