Our second Red Top hike began in late afternoon and ended in the dark.  It was great to see the woods change during the 6.5 mile hike along the Homestead and Sweetgum Trails.  We got to the White Tail Trail as dark descended and stayed until we had to use our lights to return to the cars.  Despite the 50 degree temperature, Eric shocked us all by removing his shoes and taking a swim in the lake.  There is something wrong with that boy!
