It had to be a beautiful sunset to commemorate Joyce's 400th AOC event . . . and it was. She struggled to get to the top (some days are like that), but the climb paid off.  The cloud cover was thick, though it afforded some gorgeous lighting of the sky as the sun went down.  Thanks to all for being such great company.  And special thanks to Chad, who co-lead this event and took the lead so masterfully.  He was at the top with the group and well settled by the time Joyce dragged herself up.  Joyce gave new meaning to the position of sweep.  :-(  Maybe she was tired from so many hikes!
