Mother Nature provided an absolutely perfect day for a Stone Mountain Cherokee Trail hike on Presidents' Day...sunny, 57 degrees, and a mild wind.  The group of 13 had a first-timer (welcome Nancy), a couple mastering their 4th hike with the AOC (Steve and Laura...welcome back), and several AOC regulars.  We took a few breaks along the way around the mountain.  Enjoyed a moderate pace that finished our 5.2 miles in 2 hours flat.  I appreciated that Chad and Laura V did the sweeping today.  It was a good and cohesive group that I would welcome back anytime and hopefully again very soon and certainly Don can return more often since he is retiring in 8 days.  Congratulations.  Thanks everyone for a fun hike today.
