Thanks to the nine intrepid AOC rockhoppers, bushwhackers & streamjumpers who joined me at Arabia Mountain this afternoon for an adventurous 6-mile trek through a wide variety of amazing terrain. The weather could not have been more sunny or perfect for the hike, and the past few days of rain meant that the mosses were lush, the diamorpha was red and swollen, and the trout lilies were in full bloom.  Hope some of the same hardy and friendly group can join me and my "Arabia Alliance" pals next Sunday for "Monadnock Madness" that will feature ascents of Stone Mountain, Arabia Mountain and Panola Mountain all on the same day!
