Good for bikers, sad for hikers - - Sope Creek/Cochran Shoals  trails are being re-regulated to add 6.7 miles of trails that were formerly just for hiking to be extended for multi-use (biking).  (See the photos for maps and a web site for the regulations).  Fortunately for Frances and me, the trails were all closed for bikers today because of the trail conditions.  We had to make our way around puddles and mud from time to time, but the views of the raging, full river were awesome.
