What a glorious morning today became!  Quite a contrast to the frigid morning air.  Very shortly after beginning the hike, we all removed our outer layers and enjoyed the warmth of the sun as it shone through the barren trees.  We hiked a couple of cross trails as well as the perimeter, clocking in 4.5 miles in exactly 1 hour and 45 minutes.  I was amused at the attention the jalopy drew from the group.  They closely examined the heap, deciding ultimately that it was a '61 Ford.
