Oh, noooooo!  I left my camera at home, which meant that we had no excuses for stopping along the way.  The five of us covered all kinds of crazy trails at Vickery Creek and even did some bushwhacking to regain some lost trails!  I honestly believe that trees were purposely knocked down and privet bushes suddenly sprouted to make following trails more difficult.  There was no Susan F. to point the way, but we somehow managed to get back to the covered bridge in a little under two hours . . .  as though the entire hike was carefully planned!  We welcomed Mack, a brand new AOC member, who was cautioned not to give negative feedback on his first event!  (The Member Ambassadors are ruthless with such emails!)  I was also happy to see Robert, who joined us once again for his third AOC event.  Besides the two newbies, I also enjoyed the company of Suzanne and Howard for this great morning hike.
