It was nice to revisit this area after months away.  For a few of our hikers, it was their very first time at West Palisades and for others, a long time since their last visit.  But we all really enjoyed our 2 hours on the trails, and no one was left behind . . . .  at least, not for too long.  I feared at one point that I had lost half of the group . . .  but they had simply stopped for a spell to watch a heron.  I'm sorry I was too far ahead to catch it with my camera.
