Write Up:What a comedy of errors - - comedy because it had a happy ending! For the first time ever, your fearless trip leader erroneously thought the hike was later than posted; a mad drive to the park got her there almost 1/2 hour late! Fortunately (as it turned out), everyone dropped the hike because of the rain - - except for two newbies to the AOC - - Isaac and Hawk. As luck would have it, both of them were late, too - - so we all commiserated and ended up having a wonderful little hike - - with no rain! It was quality time for me with our two newest AOC members, both very nice gentleman who hopefully will sign up for many more events very soon.
