My 500th hike was certainly well-recognized and celebrated by this wonderful group of old and new friends.  Welcome to the AOC, Rosa!  (This was her very first hike with the club!) The 70% chance of thunderstorms never materialized;  in fact, we had sunny skies for the entire hike.  The Sandy Creek Nature Center offers so many beautiful trails, giving those of us with cameras many photo opportunities.  Nine of our group enjoyed a delicious meal at the China Star Buffet after the hike.  Events just don't get any better!
