The weather was so cooperative this morning!  It was a little cool when we started, but we all stripped off our jackets soon into the hike.  The trails were dry, so we explored several of the areas that we haven't seen - - some of us ever.  Funny how Gold Branch is so different each time we venture out.  Those cross trails really provide a great workout!

We didn't see the swan today, but a beautiful Great Blue Heron posed for pictures.  We enjoyed our two hour trek and hope it will hold us over this rainy weekend.
