Lemmy made a great call on the weather tonight.  At 3 pm, he notified the group that the hike was a "go."  The rain cleared up completely, leaving us with perfect conditions for our hike.  We took a vote to extend the hiking distance a mile to go around the island trail, bringing us back to the laser show meadow just at dark.  Five of us stayed for the show and were quite impressed by the display of fireworks and the improved presentation.  The Cherokee Trail is so beautiful as the sun wanes, with the reflection of the mountain in the still lake.  Lemmy and we ladies certainly enjoyed the evening!
