We had an excellent group of enthusiastic hikers, and ended up doing close to 5 miles total.

We also visited some of this parks' most excellent attractions:

- the high point in the west meadow.. one of the highest points in Gwinnett with an excellent view

- the Ravine Loop hiking trail 

- the entrance to the hiking trail, which is an archway covered with blossoms.. and had a wonderful, powerful smell

- the west section of the equestrian trail

- the paved Carriage trail

We also saw a rat snake and numerous deer throughout the hike.
