Write Up:
Four new Cherokee Trail-Blazers tonight...first timers were Faria, Jovette, Robert, and Sherri and they all handled the 5.3 miles with ease. Barbara and Jane were CT experienced. We weaved our way through the Soul Festival and swayed to the music picking up our D2 pace to a D3 speed. We ventured off the beaten trail and Jane introduced us to a trail ending our last mile with something new. A great group tonight...positive attitudes, lively conversations, lots of smiles, and good exercise. Thank you fellow hikers.
