Thanks to a rare weather phenomenon (a dry blue-sky evening!) we 13 AOCers enjoyed this adventurous 5-mile hike through Emory University’s beautiful wooded parklands.  We took the time to stop along the way to enjoy the foliage, wildflowers, birds and other critters. It was fun having two critters of our own along! - Sharon Fox’s malamute Willow and Hakeem’s Australian shepherd Andy.  In my 4+ decades of hiking at Emory I’ve never seen the area any lusher or greener.  The regular rainfall has really been amazing this year.  - Submitted by Charlie Wed. 7/17
