How great it was to hike on a dry trail for a change! Charlie (new to the AOC) hadn't hiked at Sope Creek, so we showed her the best the area had to offer - - the cemetery, the ruins, the demolition of the bridge over the creek, and Sibley Pond. Our group was small, but that made for more in-depth conversation. Chad kept the group at a good pace despite his recovering from a bout of food poisoning. Charlie got a taste of Joyce's camera fanaticism! :-)
