The trails were nice and dry at Vickery and the weather perfect. Susan F.,my unofficial AOC co-lead at Vickery, kept the group moving at a nice clip, finishing right on time so that we could eat at Spiced Right Bar BQ before they closed.  It's great to see so many new folks on the hikes lately.  Sarah Y. and Heather joined recently and Michael shared his very first hike with us.  We were all good friends by the time we got to the end of the trails.  Don had a heel injury that prevented him from completing the hike with the group.  (I hope your heel is better today, Don!)

Susan F. graciously agreed to lead the group, and did a superb job, as always.  I keep putting her up there, hoping she'll one day break down and agree to be a trip leader.  She'd be one of the best!

What an enjoyable evening we all had.
