The weather reports from various sources were all over the board regarding the impending rain this morning, so I took the most favorable (no chance of rain) and sent an email that the hike was on. What luck we had.  The morning rains gave way to a period of dryness that lasted for the entire hike. A group of us went to Chaplin's for lunch and watched the skies open up in a heavy downpour. We were snug and dry (except for the workout sweat) as we enjoyed our meals and each other's company after the refreshing 4.5 mile hike.
