Today's rain cleared out and made for a perfect 4 pm hike start...rain-free.  The group of 7 kept a nice, steady, slightly fast pace as we rounded the mountain on the Cherokee Trail.  Some spots kept our attention along the slippery rock and the tree roots.  We passed a large Boy Scout group and they yelled "keep the the right" and we returned the yell of "keep to the right".  Thanks everyone for a nice time, good hike, and fun conversations along the way.
