What a perfect day for a hike at one of my favorite trails - - Pine Log Creek near Waleska. It was a new venue for most of the folks on the hike, and they all loved it!  It's not too long (4.7 miles), but it has a healthy amount of elevation change, beautiful scenery, and an amazing quarry pond nestled off the trail on the East Loop.  After the hike, most of the group gathered at SWheat (Cartersville)  for lunch - - always a wonderful place to eat.  Divya was her usual charming co-lead, and both she and Mark took lots of wonderful photos.  Divya's album is the main one featured, with links added to Mark's and mine below.  ~ Joyce
