Write Up:

We had a ball this afternoon ringing in 2014 as guests of more than 200 of our “Hash House Harrier” friends.  Their 25th annual running of the “Cheddarhead” began with an adventurous 3-mile hike/jog during which we “harriers” helped one another stay on the flour-splotched trail laid by a volunteer “hare.”  It took us through woods and neighborhoods, underneath chain-link fences and even through a quarter-mile-long dark tunnel underneath I-75!
Our reward at the trail’s end was a festive “On-In Party” in the huge back yard of veteran hashers “Service My Tool” and “Primer.”  We enjoyed delicious all-you-can-eat Wisconsin-style food & refreshments and much friendly socializing.  The event’s founder, Wisconsin native “Public Enema,” did his usual masterful job overseeing the ritual singing and “down-downs” - also presenting Wisconsin cheeses as door prizes - all with “ZERO fiber” of course! :>)
Thanks to everyone for singing along with me and "Coffee Bean" on this "thank-you song" for our wild, crazy & hardworking AH4 hosts:

CHEDDARHEAD AULD LANG SYNE SONG:
Should auld acquaintance be forgot as we hash the Cheddarhead?
We ask, “Was ever there a hash when we’ve all been better fed?!”
For Auld Lang Syne, my dear, and for this “Lang Syne” so fine,
Let’s raise a cup of thanks to our Green Bay “partners in the crime!”
