There's not a better way to start the New Year than hiking with a group of friendly AOC folks. After group introductions and a group photo,  we got underway, keeping up a healthy pace with just a few stops along the way. We took the perimeter trail, passing Sibley Pond and the ruins of the paper mill - - always wonderful points of interest at which to stop for pictures.

After the hike, a group of 8 capped off the afternoon with a meal at Moe's.  (Sadly, Tijuana Joe's was closed for the holiday.)
