It was my first hike in several weeks, and it was a good one.  So nice to see familiar faces, and a few new ones as well.  I finally got to meet Bob - - Lisa's husband.  What a nice guy - - and smart, too!  It was a pleasure to meet Andrea and Lilliane, two friends who hiked at Gold Branch for the first time. The pace was brisk, the day was bright and cool, and we ascended five of the inner trails (hills) during the hike, totalling 1,476 feet of climbing.  It was a good workout for the dozen of us. ~ Joyce
