Write Up:I want to thank Steve, Sally, Raghav and Arvind for joining me on the beautiful creekside and lakeside trails at Emory this afternoon despite my having posted the event only this morning. The weather could have hardly been more perfect! Sally spotted a big hawk flying overhead with a captured squirrel and while circling the lake we all got good views of the Canada geese and the resident great blue heron. At the end of the hike although we had no green beer for toasting each other it was still fun celebrating "the eve of St. Pat's eve" by singing a few old Irish songs in the Hahn Woods parking lot. -Submitted by Charlie Sat evening March 15th
