We fourteen AOCers took advantage of the gorgeous weather and had a fine time together on this first-day-of-Spring midweek after-work hike. We took several adventurous detours off the main trail and stopped often to admire the rushing waters of the creeks and the colorful new buds of wildflowers, vines, shrubs and trees.
It was fun greeting other hikers along the way, and their friendly dogs were obviously likewise thrilled to be outdoors on such a nice evening.
Now that DST has begun we'll see lots more of these metro-area midweek AOC events.  They're always fun for me personally and I intend to continue offering frequent outings in the lovely parks near my home here in NE Atlanta.
