This hike was at a leisurely place through the 1 mile trail at Morgan Falls and then walked back and forth to the dam, adding about another mile. It was a welcome change from all the fast paced hikes and a good one for beginners; some of us were digesting our wholesome meal at Tijuana Joes while enjoying the tree-covered trails.

This was Suhasni's second hike with the club, her first being at Big Trees. We welcomed Mike Smith on his first AOC hike. We would see him on his second hike immediately after this one at Island Ford.

The water level of the Bull Sluice Lake was was extremely low . As we walked towards Morgan Falls dam, we were treated to a beautiful hawk circling the skies.

Sunae. Michael, Joyce and Divya were conserving every bit of energy for the last and final hike at Island Ford.
