It was a very warm hike, but so enjoyable with dogwoods and red-buds blooming, turtles sunning on a log, a snake warming itself on the river rocks, and geese swimming on the pond.  I was so happy to welcome two brand new AOC members to the club - - Nick and Ginger.  And - - coincidentally - - Ginger used to live right across the street from me!  Our little group of 6 explored the ruins on both sides of the river during our 4-mile trek around the area - - a most pleasant hike on this springtime day. ~ Joyce
