     Three 1^st timers and six newer AOC hikers joined Lisa and me for our first “Meet the Ambassador’s” beginner’s hike at Sweetwater Creek State Park.  We enjoyed deer, turtles, a very large black rat snake, and a Midland Water snake (I misidentified it at first).  The fellowship was wonderful, the attitudes were great and this was a lot of fun!  Special congrats to out to Gene, Susan and Sharon for making this event their first foray with the AOC!
