This hike promised to be a good workout and a fun event, and it certainly was! 11 of us walked the damp trails of Jones Bridge covering over 6 miles in 2.5 hours. Just when we started off, Doug spotted a heron. We spotted deer at different times of the hike, and saw about 6 of them when we were almost done with our hike. 

This was Joyce's 700th event with the club! it seems like only a month ago, when I was at her 600th hike! She sure adds those numbers up! We took some pretty pictures with bouquets of flowers that Susan and Sunae bought for her and a sign that I made. 8 of us went out to lunch after the hike and stuffed ourselves with some delicious Italian food at Mona Lisa. 

It was a perfect day that will go down in AOC history :)
