We took a moderate pace but still finished the hike around Stone Mt. in two hours.  It was a very pleasant afternoon with relatively few folks out during our trek.  Although we were few, one of us was a relative newbie - - which is always nice.  Marshall had been to Stone Mt. but had never hiked the Cherokee Trail until today. Hopefully, we'll see him on many future hikes.  ~ Joyce
