It was a warm hike, but the group of 14 did a great job staying together.  Even our brand new member, Nancy, made it look easy.  It was great meeting Maria, a relatively new member, and seeing all the regulars.

We hiked around the park and the pond and did the lollipop stem, foregoing the loop in the interest of time.  It worked out perfectly, so that we finished the 6 miles in the allotted two hours.  Seven of the group then gathered at the North River Tavern for a pleasant lunch on the outside patio. ~ Joyce
