Another great group and an awesome day on the river!!  Thanks Aaron Rae for co-leading this one with me!  Unfortunately, I didn't get a group shot, but there were 13 total byob(oat)'ers who paddled a 17 mile section of the Etowah River this past Saturday (7/26).  This is one of my favorite sections on the Etowah. We were able to enjoy highlights such as the Thomson Wienman Dam, the Etowah Indian Mounds, shoals created by ancient fishing weirs and the "hot tub" nearing the takeout at the Euharlee bridge.  It was a long, but fun and memorable day!
