A perfect morning for a hike at Island Ford, with a distinctly cooler feel to the air.  We covered the standard trails but also took a side trail that ended up in a trek through some uncharted woods.  We were delighted to welcome Mary into the AOC, especially since she drove all the way from Rome, GA to join us!
