Nice group of 9 hikers made the 5.55 mile trail without issue.  We stumbled upon a dog show at Stone Mountain Park and we lingered for a few minutes.  While the weatherman predicted HOT weather, it was not all that bad...the shade helped.  Thanks everyone for coming out and going around the mountain.  It was a good time.
