A tough 12.6 mile hike with about 3,000 feet of climb - - but what a wonderful segment of the AT for our group of 13! The period of rain was actually welcomed, as it cooled us off and dropped the temperature a bit. The Slackpackers have a great hike in store for them in October! ~ Joyce
