Write Up:We ten AOC botany buffs had a good time today at the expert-led "walk & talk" offered each Friday in the fall and spring on the GA Perimeter College campus near Decatur. We marveled at the wide variety of beautiful ferns, trees and flowering plants in the garden and learned a lot about the invasive plant species that are so prevalent throughout Georgia. It was also fun sharing our various picnic lunch goodies in the classroom before and during Mr. Funderburk's gorgeous slide show.
Thanks to Joyce Taaffe for her usual bang-up job shooting lots of nice photos at our event. Here's the link to her online album! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153357763625260.1073742285.540275259&type=1&l=32cc4451ef
