Great hike! Two new AOC members joined us - welcome John and Amanda. We did 5.5 miles in 2 hours at a very fast pace. We all agreed that the trails at Gold Branch gave us a great workout due to all the ups and downs and a couple of really steep hills. Towards the end of the hike, we saw 2 beautiful Great Egrets - thanks Ron for letting me know thats what they were! If you see them, you might think they are white Herons, but white Herons are only in Southern Florida. After doing my own research, I now know more about Heron's and Egrets than Wikipedia. 

At the end of the hike, we ate the delicious cupcakes that Tim made (yes, a guy baked for a woman!) to celebrate Judy's (belated) 100th hike!
