Our 14.5 mile hike included Coosa Backcountry Trail, Coosa Bald, and Slaughter Mountain. Quite a day! I'm so impressed with the increased fitness of our AOC members! By participating in some of the more difficult hikes, our previous D3 hikers were able to complete this difficult D5 hike - - with seeming ease! The beautiful, cool weather was certainly an advantage! ~ Joyce
